Newly Discovered Boone Rifle Unveiled at The Kentucky Rifle Association's Annual Meeting

Brian LaMaster unveiled the newly discovered Boone Rifle to the Kentucky Rifle Association Membership at the KRA Annual Show in Carlisle, PA over the weekend of June 25-27. Through his research, the Boone Rifle has been attributed to Daniel Boone and William Arbuckle, 1792-1793, and signed and carried by Nathan Boone, Daniel Boone’s youngest son.

A “standing room only” seminar was presented on Saturday and the educational findings were well received and highly praised by the membership. The Boone Rifle is important not only for its possible historical significance, but the details of this particular rifle will be instrumental in unlocking further research into the gunsmiths of the Boone family.
